Polarizers eat up light - Photography quick tips

Polarizing filters are amazing for deepening the colours in our sky's and cutting reflections, but they usually come at a cost. 

Most polarizing filters eat up between 1 - 2 stops of light! While this is usually fine in the middle of a bright day or with the camera mounted on a tripod, this is something to keep in mind when hand holding. Bumping the ISO could be necessary.
